A2Z Infra Engineering zooms 12% on winning Rs 90 cr overseas order

Mumbai: Shares of A2Z Infra Engineering surged nearly 12 percent today after the company won a $13.56 million (around Rs 90 crore) contract from Nepal government for expansion of electricity distribution network. [caption id=“attachment_2513292” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] AP[/caption] The stock gained 11.79 percent to Rs 34.60 on BSE. At NSE, shares of the company jumped 12.15 percent to Rs 34.60. A contract has been awarded from Nepal Electricity Authority, a Nepal government undertaking on June 10, A2Z Infra had said in a BSE filing. The contract is for expansion of distribution network in the Western Region of Nepal. The award has been made for a “contract price aggregating to $1,35,63,420.77,” the company said. The award was given on the basis of a global tender, it added.
