With the new Terminator movie, ‘Terminator Genisys’, just around the corner, it is a good time to revisit the franchise and refresh the plot.

But with a franchise like Terminator, which began in 1984 with ‘The Terminator’, and expanded into four movies over the past three decades, it might be difficult to keep track with the story-line.

With all the time travelling, and one of the lead characters played by four different actors over the years, it gets pretty disconcerting at times.

But worry not, IGN is here to the rescue.

The guys over at IGN has made a seven minute video recapping and explaining all the four movies in a chronological order.

The new Terminator movie, directed by Alan Taylor and starring Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, JK Simmons, Matt Smith, Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke, hits the theaters this Friday.

And yes, of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as your friendly killer robot.
