Watch: Beyoncé's Single Ladies meets Katrina Kaif's Sheila ki Jawani and it is amazing

Picture this - Beyoncé dancing to a Bollywood-style Katrina Kaif item number. Is your mind boggled? How about this? Beyoncé dancing to the Tamil song a la Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture. The mere thought of the international pop star known for her groovy moves dancing to desi beats seems alien. But thanks to video-editing technology and some creative fans, even ‘Queen Bey’ as she is fondly called, can be seen doing to item songs. The Single Ladies video featuring Beyoncé and the two other  dancers gyrating in their black leotards in the back-and-white video is a well-known sight. Adding a typical Bollywood masala number to that may seem like an odd thought to many. But when Facebook user ‘Bollywood Gandu’ posted a mash-up of Beyoncé’s super-hit song Single Ladies with Katrina Kaif’s Sheila ki Jawani playing as the background score, the result was amazing. The video is synced with uncanny perfection and one can almost forget that the American artist is not dancing to Sheila ki Jawani!

A similar desi-videshi Beyoncé mash-up featured the Singles Ladies video with Tamil song Nakka Mukka, which was also the introductory song in Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture, and it was just as perfectly synced.

Looks like Beyoncé’s dancing prowess can fit into any style, from Western pop to desi thumka, from Katrina Kaif to Vidya Balan. Now all we want to see is Queen Bey actually shaking a leg to a Bollywood song. Imagine how wonderful that would be!
