Want to act till I'm 80: Kareena Kapoor on career, and role model Zohra Sehgal

Mumbai: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor in the gender-bender R Balki film Ki & Ka, says she would love to be in front of the camera even when she is 80 — just like late actress Zohra Sehgal. At the age of 80, I want to be in front of camera,” Kareena, who had worked with the veteran actress in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, said here. Zohra Sehgal, who played character roles with aplomb in a career spanning both theatre and cinema, worked in a variety of films. She died in 2014 at the age of 102. Talking of herself, Kareena said that “despite being married for quite a long time, still I am working in films”. “I have no qualms about doing item songs. For this, I would like to give all credit to my husband Saif Ali Khan. If Saif wouldn’t have supported me, then it wouldn’t have been possible for me to do anything,” said the Jab We Met actress.
