Wait! Calvin Harris' new break-up song 'Ole' is for Rita Ora and not Taylor Swift?

Is the new Calvin Harris single 'Ole' is inspired by his ex Taylor Swift, or by his ex Rita Ora? And how does it compare to the top Taylor Swift break-up songs?

Wait! Calvin Harris' new break-up song 'Ole' is for Rita Ora and not Taylor Swift?

Things didn't end well between Rita Ora and Calvin Harris when they split up in 2014. But things didn't end well for the Scottish DJ when Taylor Swift chose Thor's half brother Loki (otherwise known as Tom Hiddleston) over Harris either.

However, it may just be possible that Rita Ora is the subject of his new single 'Ole' — and not, as is believed, Taylor Swift? Hollywoodlife.com was the first one to point out the hidden connection between the song lyrics and Rita Ora.

“You’ve hidden my name on your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell, left him alone and you booked in a hotel,” — John Newman is singing this in one of the song verses.

This might refer to the fact that Calvin and Rita split after he found out that Rita was spending some time away from him in a hotel even though they were in the same city.

But then the song opens with these lyrics:

“Low key you won’t tell none of your friends about me. I see online that you began to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend.”

Low key sounds very much like 'Loki', the villain that Tom Hiddleston portrays in the Thor films.

The song was penned in April, and the 'Hiddleswift' romance  first made headlines at the Met Gala in May.

Also Calvin Harris is back in the news for one more reason -- he was seen partying with Nicole Scherzinger over the weekend, could this be his rebound?

Either way, Calvin Harris has seemed to acquire Taylor Swift's idea of writing about her exes. Here are a few exes that Swift has dissed in her songs:

"We are never getting back together"– Jake Gyllenhaal

This hit single is about actor Jake Gyllenhaal. From lyrics about the actor’s love of indie bands to the scarf featured in the music video that is identical to one Swift wore on a date with Gyllenhaal, it is clear that the actor is the inspiration for the track.

“I Knew You Were Trouble”– Harry Styles

Taylor made it so obvious at the Grammys that the song was about the British bad boy Harry Styles, who had apparently cheated on her.

"Dear John" – John Mayer

The song is about her ex John Mayer, after the relationship went south. John Mayer retorted with the song 'Paper Doll' that is penned for Taylor Swift.

"Better Than Revenge"– Joe Jonas

This track features lyrics about 'vintage dresses' which Camilla Belle loves. The song was released after Swift claimed that Camilla had come between her and Joe Jonas. This is just one of the many songs about Joe Jonas, other ones being  'Forever & Always', 'Jump Then Fall', 'Today Was a Fairytale' and 'Holy Ground'.
