Tubelight: Two more stills with Salman Khan released; Salim Khan loves the film
Salim Khan hugged Kabir Khan after watching his son Salman Khan's performance in Tubelight.
Kabir Khan's upcoming period drama Tubelight is gradually unfolding itself on social media. As fans await the release of the teaser, they are constantly 'teased' by posters and stills from the film, featuring Salman Khan.
Two more stills were revealed on social media recently. One of them comes across as an extension to the poster in which Salman was seen saluting hesitatingly as if he is on gunpoint in a war-torn area.
His boots are tied together lying suspended from his neck. The new still demystifies the poster as there is a soldier standing in front of him. However, Salman no longer has signs of fear on his face as he salutes properly, sporting a wide grin and eyes gleaming with pride.
In the second still, Salman seems to be in deep thought. His palms lie on one another with his chin comfortably resting on them. He stares blankly with a glum expression on his face. He is wearing his typical Tubelight outfit - a full sleeves shirt and a sleeveless sweater. This further adds intrigue to the plot of the film and is just a glimpse of the range of emotions that the actor will be displaying in it.
DNA reports that Salman's father and former writer Salim Khan has watched the film and loved it.
He has referred to the period drama as 'beautiful'. Filmfare reports that after Kabir showed the rough cut to the veteran script writer, the latter gave him a tight hug as soon as he exited the editing room. Salim has contributed to the poster of the movie with the words, 'Kya tumhe yakeen hai?'.
Tubelight also stars Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, Sohail Khan, the late Om Puri and a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. It is co-produced by Salman Khan Films and Kabir. It is slated to release this Eid on 26 June.
