Nearly 23 years after he was indicted in the 1993 serial bomb blasts, actor Sanjay Dutt walked out of Pune’s Yerwada Jail as a free man. The case against Sanjay Dutt saw many twists and turns, with public opinions sharply divided on whether the legal system was unfairly harsh or excessively lenient on him. On Thursday, dramatic visuals showed him walking out of the jail, giving a salute in the direction of the prison where he served a prison sentence for his involvement in an Arms Act case part of the 1993 blasts in Mumbai.
