A global award ceremony recognising the efforts of teachers, held in Dubai over the weekend, provided the unlikely meeting ground for our Bollywood and Hollywood stars to mingle. Among the celebrities who were part of the Global Teachers’ Prize 2016 event were Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and Parineeti Chopra while Hollywood was represented by Matthew McConaughey (accompanied by his wife Camila Alves) and Salma Hayek.While Akshay Kumar got a chance to click the “selfie of a lifetime” with Salma Hayek, which he later shared on Twitter, Parineeti’s attempt to get a similar snap with Matthew McConaughey was spoiled somewhat by Akshay and Abhishek Bachchan, who “photo-bombed” the duo.
“Rab ne bana di jodi … Me and Matthew! But photobombed by our hindustani ladkas,” Parineeti said on Instagram.
Later on stage, Interstellar star McConaughey also danced with Parineeti and Akshay to a Bollywood number, reported Hindustan Times .
