Last week, we had two very special guests on The Firstpost Show — Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, the stars of R. Balki’s Ki & Ka. Straight off the bat, the actors proved what good sports they were by agreeing to submit to a fun question-answer round. The task was simple – we read out dialogues from Kareena’s films to Arjun, and vice versa, and they had to guess which film it was from. Arjun didn’t even need to hear the entire dialogue – he knew just which films of Kareena’s those lines were from, be it her dialogue as Geet from Jab We Met, or as Pooh from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (and he had the ‘Pooh pout’ down too!). Kareena, on the other hand, struggled a bit to get Arjun’s dialogues right — although she did manage, with a little help from us! She did a lot better on the next round though – when she drew a respectable enough caricature of Arjun, without looking down at her sheet! Arjun, on the other hand, copped out of the challenge, saying he simply wasn’t artistic enough – except when he was in front of the camera and getting paid for it. Last but not the least, we had a quick round of “heads up” where Kareena and Arjun both took turns to guess words written on flash cards that they couldn’t see. One thing that was quite clear even in the short interaction we had with the two stars was the really wonderful camaraderie that seems to exist between them. They groaned as they told us about being asked the same questions in interviews (“What pranks did he play on you” to Kareena; “What tips did Kareena give you about acting?” for Arjun) and promised to go over some of their dialogues with us — provided we said nice things about their film!
