Thank You SRK top trend on Twitter after Shah Rukh posts thank you video for fans

When celebrities announce that they’re going to share a thank you video for their fans, you are imagining two or three minutes of vanity with very little gratitude. Well, not when the celebrity involved in Shah Rukh Khan. On Monday evening, SRK posted on his Twitter account that a thank you video was due to his fans for all their love and support through the 23 years that he has been in the film industry, and he would upload one the next day. Promptly so, he did.

SRK starts off by thanking his fans for giving him company on lonely nights when the world is asleep. He then goes on to thank them for sharing art and anime posters with him, for the countless photographs and advice that his fans give him. All of this is really sweet, yes, but most of all, we want to thank you, SRK, for not uploading a cliched thank you video, and remaining your charming self. By Tuesday evening, ‘Thank You SRK’ was the top trend on Twitter. Needless to say, Twitterati responded back with all the love and gratitude. Here are some tweets.
