Shah Rukh Khan to star in Rush Hour sequel? Director seems keen to cast King Khan

Over the weekend, Shah Rukh Khan received a special tribute at the 60th San Francisco International Film Festival (SFIFF) which included a screening of My Name Is Khan (2010).

Also, during a conversation with director Brett Ratner (of the Rush Hour series and X-Men: The Last Stand fame), the director remarked that he would want to make a sequel to Rush Hour with SRK in India, reports ANI.

Since Brett Ratner and SRK are such good friends, Ratner also posted a video of him dancing to 'Lungi Dance' with the King Khan during the festival and captioned it, "With #KingKhan @iamsrk doing the #LungiDance during the @sffilm Inspiring, humble, a great dancer, and smells great too."

SRK also took to Twitter and thanked Brett who gifted the actor a doll modelled on himself.

"Thanx Brett Ratner for a great evening at the SFFILM, your doll is awesome like you," Shah Rukh wrote on Twitter. The actor also thanked festival organisers and wrote, "You made me feel special and all who came to attend. Love you and hugs."

At SFIFF, Shah Rukh will get a tribute along with John Ridley, Gordon Gund, Ethan Hawke and James Ivory. The film festival is celebrating its 60th anniversary and runs from April 5-19 at various venues in the Bay Area, will unspool 200 films and include live events.
