Second highest opening weekend since 'Airlift': 'Kapoor & Sons' mints Rs 26.35 crore in three days

Inspite of the World T20 match between India and Pakistan on Saturday evening, Dharma Productions' Kapoor & Sons has still managed to see an upward graph in its box office collections since it released on Friday, 18 March.

According to Taran Adarsh, the film made Rs 6.85 crores on day one, followed by Rs 7.75 crore on day two and close to Rs 11 crores on day three.

According to this report by International Business Times, Kapoor & Sons has the second highest opening weekend collections after Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift. The film was released in 1500 screens across India.

The film features Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malthora, Rajat Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah.
