Will Salman Khan have to choose between Bigg Boss 11, Dus Ka Dum Season 3 — or do both?
Salman Khan is reportedly more keen on doing Dus Ka Dum but is not willing to quit Bigg Boss 11 as its format is based on Iulia Vantur's The Farm.
It was earlier reported that Salman Khan is in talks with the makers of Dus Ka Dum to replace The Kapil Sharma Show from its prime time slot. Now, there are speculations that since he has been roped in by Sony Entertainment Television to host the celebrity quiz show after eight years, he may not do the next season of Bigg Boss on Colors.
DNA reports that since Dus Ka Dum will go on air in July and Salman has multiple films to shoot for this year, he may not be able to manages his dates for Bigg Boss Season 11. While Bigg Boss has become synonymous with Salman as he has hosted close to seven seasons of the reality show, the same report states that the actor is not keen on hosting another season because of the controversies that the show is associated with. He is looking forward to return to a more 'fun' show like Dus Ka Dum.
However, Yahoo Lifestyle News suggests otherwise. It reports that while Salman will be hosting Dus Ka Dum Season 3, he will also take time out for Bigg Boss Season 11. In fact, he has personally decided the theme of the 11th season which is based on that of the Romanian show The Farm, hosted by his rumoured girlfriend and Romanian model Iulia Vantur.
Also, there will be no clash between the two shows as Dus Ka Dum will go on air in July whereas Bigg Boss will only start airing in October. Thus, it would also be convenient for the actor to wrap up the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai that is slated to release this Christmas.
Currently, he has just returned from his Da-Bang world tour and will soon start promoting his next, Kabir Khan's period drama Tubelight that is slated to release this Eid on 25 June.
