Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, director Anees Bazmee and producer Boney Kapoor have quelled rumours about No Entry Mein Entry being shelved. Bazmee said, "Salman Khan has loved the script of No Entry Mein Entry. I have a great rapport with him and in this film, he will be seen in a double role. I don’t know where the news of shelving is coming from. I am giving the final touches to the script. I got busy with shooting Mubarakan but now we are back on track. We will have to work on his dates though."

Fardeen Khan and Anil Kapoor also star in the film, and they too, will be playing double roles. Boney Kapoor has mentioned that he is not sure when the film will go on floors.

The first installment in the series was also made by the same director-producer duo. Apart from Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan and Anil Kapoor, it also starred Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitley. The comedy film explored the lives of three men who are either suspected to be having affairs or are in fact cheating, and how their lives changed when a call girl entered the scene.

Apart from No Entry Mein Entry, Salman's other upcoming projects include Tubelight, which is set to release on Eid this year. In it, he stars opposite Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, and this film also features a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. It is also being rumoured that his show Dus Ka Dum may replace The Kapil Sharma Show in the prime time slot.
