The first look of Mausam, a film directed by legendary actor Pankaj Kapur, was shown to the media at PVR Juhu yesterday. The film stars Kapur’s son, Shahid Kapur and Sonam Kapoor — a fresh and interesting cast. I don’t think any other actor has ever flown a F-16, not even Tom Cruise when he had done Top Gun because he had flown an F15. I was very fortunate to get that opportunity. It was a very exciting experience for me,” said Shahid. The actor had flown the American fighter aircraft at the AeroIndia defence exhibition in Bangalore earlier this year. The fact that Shahid was also chosen by his father to play the lead in his first directorial venture pleased him no end. “Mausam is about the season of love. It’s about different emotions and different situations that the couple (Sonam and me) go through,” he added. Mausam is set to hit theatres on 16 September . [fpgallery id=76]
