Rani breezes down her ivory tower

She’s played the ivory tower damsel for many years, except when she’s had film releases on cards, all of which were huge box office disasters -- and most were from the Yash Raj stable. She has since realised that no one cares about her films or her alleged relationship.

She is back to courting audiences via the media after No One Killed Jessica released earlier this year. She has even gone to the extent of asking for work with filmmakers like Karan Johar on national television. But it was director Reema Kagti who actually signed her on for her Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer, currently being filmed in Mumbai.

It’s a Rani-fest everywhere, whether she’s seen promoting the world’s largest diamonds or partying at an obscure location in Mumbai. It’s about time!
