Ram Gopal Varma's third installment in the Sarkar franchise titled Sarkar 3 is yet to hit screens, but the filmmaker is already contemplating his next.

It is reported that RGV has roped in none other than Mithun Chakraborty to feature in his next venture which will be a horror film. Rumours of the film surfaced when Mithun Chakraborty attended Ram Gopal Varma’s birthday celebrations last week.

RGV's next, Sarkar 3 is set to hit the theatres on 12 May and will star new faces like Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh, Jackie Shroff, and Manoj Bajpayee among others apart from Amitabh Bachchan as Subhash Nagre.

Initially, there was news that RGV’s venture with Abhishek Bachchan titled Arrest has been delayed. Arrest is going to based on the life of the encounter specialist. Now DNA reports that the Abhishek Bachchan starrer has been put on hold until Ram Gopal Varma completes the shoot for Mithun's horror film, which is slated to go on floors in May.

The 66-year-old actor’s last Hindi film was Vibhu Puri’s 2015 biographical drama Hawaizaada with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead but Mithun continues to be in the limelight for starring as a judge on dance reality shows since the last few years.
