Ram Gopal Varma took a dig at Rajinikanth on Twitter: Here's what happened next

There will be times in your life when you’ll be flipping channels on TV, and you’ll chance upon films like Satya and Rangeela, and wonder how a talented filmmaker like Ram Gopal Varma, became one of the more controversial presences on social media (among other things). Ever since the trailer of his upcoming film Veerappan has been released, RGV has been quite active on Twitter. His latest gem, however, is about Rajinikanth. RGV posted a series of tweets calling the superstar bad looking, and then later claimed it was his way of paying compliments to him.

After a lot of social media backlash, RGV decided that it was best he posts a series of tweets defending his statements. In true RGV style, he takes a complete U-turn, and starts tweeting praise for the superstar.
