No gifts please! Wedding card reveals Shahid-Mira to be wed on 7 July in Gurgaon

Shahid Kapoor has been in the news more for his reported wedding to Delhi girl Mira Rajput, and less for film-related updates. But everything has been mere speculation, from his bachelor’s party, the wedding venue and the wedding date.

However, the dates for the Mira Rajput-Shahid Kapoor wedding have finally been revealed. A picture of the wedding card invitation reveals all the details:

From what we can tell, the wedding is being held in the Oberoi in Gurgaon’s Udyog Vihar on July 7 and the card has Mira’s parents – Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput, and Shahid’s parents Neelima Azim and Pankaj Kapur and step mother Supriya Pathak on it.

The design of the card is elegant and indulgent, but the message on it reads, “No gifts please, Blessings only.” We can see a bunch of goodies in the corner, and it definitely looks like a big fat Punjabi wedding.

India Today reports that the couple met Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Delhi, which is a religious group that both are a part of, and got engaged earlier this year.

Shahid’s wedding clothes are being designed by designer Kunal Rawal, who is also his childhood friend, and Rajput’s trousseau will be designed by Anamika Khanna, reports Times of India .

According to this report by Indian Express, the wedding in Gurgaon will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on July 12.
