Micromax Mobile has withdrawn its controversial ‘Bai ad’, after the actor sent a legal notice to the company, his publicist said today. The commercial attempted to take a dig at Shiney, who was convicted two years ago for raping his domestic help. The actor is currently out on bail. [/caption] In late October the actor slapped a legal notice on Micromax Mobile, contending that the commercial ‘amounted to willful character assassination and contempt of court’. Shiney was awarded seven years imprisonment by a Mumbai fast track court in March this year. He has challenged the sentence in Bombay High court. Watch video ….
