Micromax withdraws 'Bai ad' after Shiney serves legal notice

Micromax Mobile has withdrawn its controversial ‘Bai ad’, after the actor sent a legal notice to the company, his publicist said today. The commercial attempted to take a dig at Shiney, who was convicted two years ago for raping his domestic help. The actor is currently out on bail. Shiney was awarded seven years imprisonment by a Mumbai fast track court in March this year. He has challenged the sentence in Bombay High court. Watch video …. Shiney has performed in movies like ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, ‘Sins’, ‘Life In A Metro’, ‘Woh Lamhe’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and ‘Gangster - A Love Story’, and is awaiting release of forthcoming movies like ‘Ek Accident’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Chaloo Movie’ and ‘Har Pal’.
