Making of Raees: Here's how Shah Rukh Khan moulded into his character
Shah Rukh Khan tweeted out a video that describes how the makers breathed life into the titular character of Raees
The post-release promotion of Rahul Dholakia's crime drama Raees continues to roll after the makers released a deleted romantic song of the film 'Halka Halka' and the making of Sunny Leone's 'Laila Main Laila' song.
Now, they have released a video that traces the making of the character of Raees, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
Executives of Shah Rukh's production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, Dholakia and Shah Rukh's co-actors, Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyubb laud the star's dedication and sincerity in the video. They claim that Shah Rukh's conviction is reflected even in his body language, like when he removes his spectacles or adjusts his locket.
Behind-the-scenes of Shah Rukh having fun are also peppered all over the video. From dishing out Gujarati one-liners to exhibiting some child-like excitement during grave scenes, Shah Rukh seems to be having cartloads of fun, or barrels of fun in the case of Raees, since he plays a bootlegger in the film.
The film crossed the coveted mark of Rs 100 crore long ago but its post-release promotions continue to roll, unlike Sanjay Gupta's revenge drama Kaabil which released on the same day last month, on the eve of Republic Day.

Explained: Why Yash Raj Films was asked to compensate viewer for not including 'promo song' in the film Fan
The Supreme Court stayed the NCDRC order asking YRF to compensate complainant who felt 'cheated' by the exclusion of 'Jabra Fan' from Shah Rukh Khan's 2016 film. But it also upheld the exclusion of 'promotional' songs from films as "unfair trade practice."
