Los Angeles: It was the moment of joy and excitement for the team of Mad Max: Fury Road when the film lifted Oscars for the Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Editing, Sound editing, Sound Mixing, and Best Makeup and Hair-styling at the 88th Academy Awards, here on Sunday. Lesley Vanderwalt, Elka Wardega and Damian Martin won the Oscar for Best Hair and Makeup Styling for the film. Mad Max: Fury Road is set in a future desert wasteland where gasoline and water are scarce commodities and features Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Riley Keough, Zoe Kravitz, Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton.
