Legendary music composer from the south, MS Viswanathan passed away in a hospital in Chennai on Tuesday morning and it shook the entertainment industry. The composer was undergoing treatment for a while for breathing related ailments, reports Hindustan Times.
MSV, as he was fondly known, had over 750 films to his credit. His first film as composer was the 1952 film Tamil Panam, which starred Sivaji Ganeshan.
Within hours of his demise, #RIPMSV was the top trend on Twitter and millions of fans and even many industry members took to social media to talk about the composer and their favorite tracks.
