Kung Fu Panda 3: The official trailer is out, but it isn't as kickass as the 'leaked' Chinese one

Does your life feel slightly empty, now that you are done watching Jurassic World? Do you feel like there’s nothing to look forward to, nothing that has butterflies fluttering in your stomach for months on end? Here, look up, there’s light at the end of the tunnel and it comes in the form of Po! The official English trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3 has been released and guess what, it just made us want this year to get over right now. Kung Fu Panda 3 is slated for release in January 2016. The trailer doesn’t give away much. However, you got to love whatever little you see of Po and the Furious Five, right? So the trailer begins with Master Shifu taking Po and the Furious Five through difficult practice routines, with Po bumbling through them. It then shows you a Po lookalike, slightly bigger. You figure that it’s Li Shen, Po’s father. The duo meet, tell each other that they had lost a son and a father respectively long back, but still can’t figure out that they are looking for each other. Everyone else, including Po’s foster father, the goose, too realises who Li Shen is. The English trailer ends with that. However, if you are true Kung Fu Panda fans, you must have already see the Chinese language trailer which had been leaked online a couple of days back. It’s safe to say that the English trailer is not a patch on the terrific Chinese one. We are guessing there’s an English version of the same too, which was intended to be released later. [caption id=“attachment_2303404” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  The new villain.[/caption] The official trailer is shorter than the leaked one and doesn’t hint at the awe-inspiring action that has been integral to the two Kung Fu Pandda films so far. The leaked trailer though shows the film’s villain, Kai, a green, monstrous bullock - that one looks fierce, one that is most likely to live up to the high standards set by Tai Lung. The leaked trailer also began with Shifu saying that the world will be enveloped in darkness, setting the tone for yet another kickass Kung Fu Panda film.
