Govinda is attempting yet another Bollywood comeback with films like Kill Dil and Happy Ending and has set his sight on reclaiming his “King of Comedy” title. He’s not known for being an actor with great talent but there’s no denying he has a unique screen presence that makes his performances very memorable and he definitely exudes confidence. He made a killing with movies like Coolie No 1, Hasseena Maan Jayegi and Deewana Mastana and hopes to recreate some of that magic with his new release. While we can only hope his dressing style has improved in Happy Ending, where he plays the role of an actor. Here’s a look at some of his tackiest outfits. 1. It takes a supreme amount of confidence to strut your stuff in a lit up tuxedo on a popular reality tv show. There’s no denying this man has got what it takes to walk around in a ridiculous outfit and own it. Kudos to that. We don’t know who is the worse dresser– Govinda in his electric blue kurta and white waistcoat or his co-star Karisma Kapoor in her pink, red, yellow and orange ensemble. Govinda’s character in Partner, a complete copy of Hitch, is a sloppy, boring person who in the latter half of the movie with the help of love doctor Salman becomes this cool guy and ends up with the girl of his dreams. However, his paint splattered hoodie does not up his cool quotient. [caption id=“attachment_1802625” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Courtesy: Ibn live[/caption] 4. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s a Marathi manoos in shiny red chaddi. Govinda in his superman costume grooving to the beat in Tu Mera Superman from the movie Dariya Dil is an image burned into most of our brains. I wish there was a button for amnesia. [caption id=“attachment_1803469” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Courtesy: Ibn live[/caption] 5. Long before thermal insulation blankets became a thing, Govinda was ahead of the curve in this photoshoot where he and Juhi Chawla are covered in foil. Good way to keep warm huh?
