Katrina Kaif fires make-up man for not showing up for a shoot

Katrina Kaif isn’t to be trifled with. The actress, who is a recluse and rarely wants to discuss her life beyond work, recently revealed that she has fired her make-up man, with whom she had worked for 11 good years. According to a Hindustan Times report, the make-up person, Subhash, had taken up an assignment at Mauritius an was delayed by bad weather due to which he could return on time for Kaif’s Anurag Basu shoot and was hence replaced. [caption id=“attachment_2057835” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Courtesy: Facebook[/caption] Subhash Singh had worked with Katrina Kaif since her debut in Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya in 2005. Singh is also the same makeup artist whom Kaif did not want to share with her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star, Anushka Sharma. Reports suggest that during the shoot of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Singh was suppose to fly out to London with Anushka Sharma to do her make-up for the film. Although Kaif was informed in advance about his plans, at the last minute, she said that she had to do some patchwork for the film, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, for which she wanted Singh to stay back. Reportedly, when the make-up artist refused to stay back she called up YRF production house in a bid to try and stop Singh from leaving the country. Kaif finally got her way as Singh was asked to stay back for the patchwork of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. However, the Mere Brother Ki Dulhan shoot eventually got cancelled. Reportedly, Sharma was very upset that she had to leave for London without a make-up man.
