Katrina Kaif, Fawad Khan in Karan Johar's next production: New pair alert
Dharma's next production will have Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan opposite one another.
We all have Dharma Productions to thank for Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. But apart from launching newcomers, Dharma is also known for its unique pairings.
They cast Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra together in Hasee Toh Phasee, Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in I Hate Luv Storys and also Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Shandaar.
If recent news reports are to be believed, Dharma's next production will have Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan opposite one another. And what a sight for sore eyes that would be!
According to this DNA report, this upcoming film is a co-production with Fox Star India and is based around a big fat Punjabi wedding. The film will be directed by writer-lyricist Aditya Dhar.
The shoot is all set to start in Delhi in November after Fawad Khan's wife gives birth to their baby. Fawad is currently with her, and will come back to India post the delivery.
The film is expected to be shot outside of India as well, but more details on the locations will be revealed once Karan Johar is back from the Dream Team tour in the US.
At the moment, Katrina is awaiting her September release Baar Baar Dekho and Fawad Khan will be seen in a Dharma Productions film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in October.
