Jolly LLB 2, The Ghazi Attack, Running Shaadi box office collection: Akshay's film dominates

Akshay Kumar's critically acclaimed Jolly LLB 2 continues to dominate the box-office in its second week despite new releases like The Ghazi Attack, Running Shadi and Irada.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Jolly LLB 2 is making a run towards the 100 crore club, with its current collection peaking at 95.44 crores.

The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Taapsee Pannu grossed over Rs 15 crore from all versions.

The Hindi version of The Ghazi Attack earned Rs 6.70 crore.

Directed by Amit Roy, Running Shaadi features a fresh pairing of Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu. The film, however, has only managed to rake in around 50 lakhs over the weekend, reports India Express.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the collections for The Ghazi Attack might pick up because of the good reviews.

But with Jolly LLB 2 going strong, that might not happen and hence the film isn’t expected to get the lion’s share of the box office revenues. But film-wise, Rana Daggubati himself has very little to lose. He has gotten good reviews for his performance and any failure will be cushioned by his return to the big screen in Baahubali: The Conclusion later this year.

If anyone’s career hinges on the success of the film, it is that of the new comer director Sankalp Reddy.
