It's a girl for Ash! Abhishek, an overjoyed Daddy Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday at around 10 am in the morning at the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai. An overjoyed Abhishek announced it to the world via Twitter “IT’S A GIRL!!!!!! :- ))))) Bachchan Senior tweeted, “T 561 - I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl!!” Aishwarya’s mother Vrinda Rai and Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan were by her side along with Abhishek from 7 pm onwards on Tuesday evening at the hospital, but Bachchan Senior left to go back home around 10pm. He tweeted at about 12.30 am – “T 560 - …. and as I write, there is still no news from Aishwarya .. your wishes and prayers with us … thank you ..” It was a clear indication that the family was expecting the baby to arrive in the early hours of 16 November. He then went back to the hospital at roughly 4.30 am, closer to the time of the baby’s expected arrival. Raju Shelar/Firstpost”]  [/caption] Aishwarya went into labour at roughly at 5.30 am and the baby girl was born soon after. Too early to say who the baby takes after yet, but if she is anything like her mother, then she’s going to be hailed as the most beautiful kid as soon as she makes her first public appearance. A little Miss World almost, and that’s just the beginning of her celebrity status in the days to come. With Aishwarya’s birthday falling on 1 November, both mother and daughter share the same Zodiac sign, Scorpio. Congratulatory messages have been pouring since and the Rais and Bachchans couldn’t be happier. The next big announcement after the much-awaited little Bachchan’s arrival will be her name. Given that Bachchan grandkids have traditional names – Navya Naveli and Agastya - Shweta Bachchan-Nanda’s children, the world can’t wait to hear what Aishwarya and Abhishek name their precious daughter. Friends of the family have started visiting the hospital facility to congratulate the couple, politico Amar Singh and Sonali Bendre-Behl being one of the first few to do so. Amitabh came down to see off Amar to his car, after he had met the family upstairs.
