In all fairness: Kangana says no to Rs 2 cr fairness cream ad

She may be basking in glory in the success of her latest movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns but actor Kangana Ranaut knows how to stick to her values. This charming lady of Bollywood refused to endorse a fairness cream brand as she does not believe in the idea of fairness. The actor was offered Rs 2 crore for the ad. But money does not matter in front of principles. “Ever since I was a kid, I have never understood the concept of fairness. Especially, in such a case, as a celebrity, what kind of an example would I be setting for younger people? I have no regrets about turning this offer down. As a public figure, I have responsibilities,” Kangana had told The Hindustan Times in an interview.
