In Happy New Year, is Shah Rukh Khan's Charlie partly a cockroach?

We have been conned, ladies and gentlemen. Everyone who saw the trailer of _Happy New Year_ and thought it is a Third World version of Ocean’s Eleven, set in Dubai with a stopover in Mumbai, you have clearly got it wrong. With the latest teaser that’s been released, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, we now know that Happy New Year is a sci-fi movie. Because as is pretty obvious from this shot at the end of the teaser, Khan’s character has a human head, human limbs and the thorax of a cockroach. [caption id=“attachment_1744031” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  SRK’s ten packs and cockroach’s thorax.[/caption] Cast your mind back to your biology textbooks and you will find an unerring similarity between the pronounced ridges on a cockroach’s abdomen and those visible on Khan’s. Ergo, we can only conclude that Khan’s Charlie is part cockroach, part human, and as a result, a whole new kind of awesome. Move over, The Fly and Eega. Adding credibility to our theory that Happy New Year is a sci-fi flick is the action sequence in this teaser. Charlie is seen flying in the air, landing in muck and being uncrushable. As everyone knows, cockroaches can fly for short durations before settling on land that is usually not clean. Also, science is of the belief that cockroaches, like Charlie, can survive anything. Most normal human bodies would suffer from a few broken bones if they crashlanded the way Charlie does. In case of cockroaches, their survival skills include being able to withstand dangers like microwave radiation and beheading. Yes, a cockroach can actually survive for quite some time without its head, which puts a whole new spin on Charlie, who is supposed to be the brains of the operation in Happy New Year. The cockroach’s superpowers combined with Khan’s super star status makes for hero with a 10-pack to set him apart from other, regular human heroes who have the anatomically correct six-pack. No wonder, then, that a dude flipping and throwing him in mud is barely an obstacle for Charlie. Of course, it’s possible that we’ve got it wrong and all the new teaser is supposed to do is make men and women who like muscular bodies feel weak around the knees. However, we like the idea of a sci-fi Happy New Year better. It has more possibilities than the done-to-death story of a heist. Take a look at the promo and decide for yourself:
