Happy Ending: Govinda may not have got new six pack abs but he's still got comic timing

There perhaps cannot be a better casting for the role of a ‘wannabe stud’ than Govinda and in his upcoming film, Happy Ending, he has finally landed that role. Govinda is playing the role of Armaan, a Bollywood star who tries to hire a Hollywood script writer to make a blockbuster Hindi film that will revive his dwindling career. However, hiring a Hollywood writer isn’t just what Armaan is doing to make a comeback,  if this viral photo of Happy Ending is any indication, following the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, he too has got himself a new improved bod in the hope of drawing audiences to the theatres. [caption id=“attachment_1811411” align=“alignnone” width=“380”]  Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] Although there is no news that suggests that this is actually Govinda, who has spent those extra hours in the gym and got the six pack abs in the photo, the fact is that Govinda does look a lot in shape in the video of the song, G Phadke. However, despite his improved fitness level, it seems more likely that the image is photoshopped. In the trailer of the film, we do see Govinda shirtless, with abs drawn over his abdomen with black marker and although it seems that the actor has shed some extra kilos, there is no hint of a toned up muscle on his abdomen or chest. The actor also tried to play a negative role in Kill Dil recently_._ While his performance got many positive reviews from the critics, the film got a lukewarm response at box office_._ However, with a rom-com like Happy Ending, Govinda seems to be comfortably in-character and if the trailer is any indication we are all set to see the fun Govinda with great comic timing, if not the Govinda with the hot bod.
