Delhi got super lucky when late on Wednesday night Coldplay frontman and multi-Grammy award winner Chris Martin decided to play an impromptu set at Summer House in Delhi’s Hauz Khas village. Yep. That happened.

Vishal Dadlani, who apparently facilitated this epic event tweeted, “It wasn’t an event. We were at a dinner together, and he just went ’let’s go play somewhere’! And, boom!”

Still have difficulty believing that? Well, present in the audience were Hollywood superstar Freida Pinto, folk-rock musician Raghu Dixit and the crew from All India Bakchod.

Martin played ‘Fix You’, ‘Viva la Vida’ and ‘Paradise’.

While the people present at Summer House last night are thanking their luck, the rest of us are wondering and cursing the universe thinking, “Why not me!”
