Mahesh Bhatt, Farah Khan and SRK: The B-town celebs on Ravi Pujari's hitlist

For B-towners, B grade underworld films are becoming a horrible reality, thanks to underworld don, Ravi Pujari. Police recently said that 13 members of Pujari’s gang were arrested and after interrogations they revealed that some of Bollywood’s top filmmakers and actors are on Pujari’s hitlist. Cops are already trying their best to provide protection to these people who have either faced extortion calls or received death threats from Pujari. If the recent revelation of Pujari’s gang members is any indication, it seems those weren’t empty threats and the gangster had actually hatched several rather Bollywood-esque plans. As police dig deeper and try and find out more of Pujari’s plans, here’s a list of B-town celebs, who according to police sources, are Pujari’s prime targets. 1. Mahesh Bhatt: Pujari had reportedly plotted to kill Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his family members. A source from crime branch told _PTI_ , “During interrogation of the accused (the 13 members of Pujari’s gang who have been arrested) , it emerged it was not for the first time the gang members had gathered outside (Mahesh) Bhatt’s office to target him on Saturday.” “The shooters had gone there 2-3 times in the past two months. Shah Rukh Khan: According to a DNA report, the arrested gangsters also revealed that Pujari had ordered them to open fire outside actor Shah rukh Khan’s office. Apparently, these men also conducted recces outside Khan’s office in Santacruz. This isn’t the first time Khan was targeted by Pujari. Reportedly, earlier this year, Pujari had sent a SMS to Khan’s close friend and business associate Karim Morani, mentioning the superstar. Later, to make sure that the message got across, he also called up Shah Rukh Khan’s office to directly issue the threat to him. Reportedly, gangsters also conducted recces outside her house. Pujari, apparently wanted to scare the Bollywood bigwigs by targeting big filmmakers like Bhatt and Khan. Some r eports claim that Pujari wanted to extort Happy New Year’s international rights and give the money to his aide, Sunil Raniyal alias Bittu Singh, who lives overseas. Ali Morani: Producer Ali Morani received several extortion calls from Ravi Pujari and three unidentified men on bikes also opened fired at his residence in Juhu. Apparently, Morani received a call from Pujari, hours before the firing happened. Police had provided security to Morani after the incident. In July, Morani had approached the Anti-Extortion Cell of the crime branch complaining about the extortion call he received from the gangster. Boman Irani: Bollywood actor Boman Irani was provided police protection after he allegedly received a threat call from Ravi Pujari in September. Irani, who was working with Shah Rukh Khan for the film Happy New Year, when the gangster sent him dire threats. Police confirmed the report and said, “Boman Irani has received threat call from Pujari and we have provided him security.
