Dreams do come true: Sushant Singh Rajput buys sprawling penthouse in Mumbai for Rs 20 cr

Sushant Singh Rajput must be on top of the moon. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! may not have done too well at the box office but Rajput has just bought himself a sprawling pent house in Bandra’s posh Pali Hill area. Image from IBN Live.[/caption] While he currently lives in Malad in a 2 bhk with his TV actress girlfriend Ankita Lokhande,  he has bought the pent house for a whopping price of Rs 20 crore. Speaking to Times of India  about his purchase, Rajput said that he plans to live his life king size now. “When I first moved to Mumbai from Delhi, I was living with six roommates in a one room-kitchen apartment. I always dreamt of owning a penthouse in the city and have worked really hard to achieve this dream,” he said, adding, “In November 11, 2013, I moved into my Malad home. Now, I am excited about the next change.” Rajput’s claim to fame came in Bollywood with Kai Po Che where he played the moody, failed cricket player. Before that he was a revered television star with Zee Tv’s Pavitra Rishta. He is now working on a Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic with Fox Studios, and has Shekhar Kapur’s Paani in the pipeline.
