We would also like to acknowledge those few stars who did not make us go through the horrors of seeing their children fail at what they did best.

Dhoom 6 villain: Not SRK but his eldest son Aryan may just bag the role

If media reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood throne may have an heir: his eldest son, Aryan. Which means that some time in the near future, we can hope that when we hear a Khan is playing the role of a college kid, it’ll be Aryan rather his dad or his dad’s colleagues.

Media reports claim Aditya Chopra is keen to cast Aryan as the villian in Dhoom:6 (weep! There are three more in the series!). While there has been no confirmation on whether Aryan has accepted the role, reports claim Daddy Dearest isn’t getting a Dhoom role as easily. The jury is out on who will be the Dhoom:4 villian — SRK or Salman Khan?

As for Aryan, fame and scandal have been following this young man in a way that must make the PR agents of small-time actors howl enviously.

Aryan’s ‘friendship’ with Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli was written about extensively. Every picture of him that surfaced on social media has been picked up by the press. In fact, he even had to deal with a scandal when a fake MMS of him and Naveli started doing rounds on the social media.

As far as Bollywood is concerned, he’s already made his debut in a big banner film — Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. As a little boy, he had to face rejection too, when his soccer scene was edited out of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

If all this makes it seem as though Aryan is doomed to live a fishbowl existence, there’s hope in the stories of a few other star kids who didn’t let their parents’ fame mess with their lives. Here’s a list of star kids who did great for themselves despite not taking up acting as a career.

5. Rhea Kapoor: While Sonam Kapoor chose to be in front of the camera and sometimes torment us with her not-so-good performances, her sister and Anil Kapoor’s other daughter Rhea chose to be a producer.
