Salman Khan confirmed that Dabangg 3 will go on the floors soon. The film will also explore Chulbul Pandey's character by going into his past.
Salman Khan's Tubelight might not have worked its magic at the box-office. However, that is not stopping the actor from taking up the projects that are coming his way. Firstpost had earlier reported on Khan and Remo D'Souza's upcoming collaboration. There were reports of the actor pairing up with Ali Abbas Zafar and Atul Agnihotri for another film tentatively titled Bharat. Now, it is time for Dabangg fans to rejoice, as in a recent interview with DNA, Khan confirmed that Dabangg 3 will go on the floors soon.
Khan also revealed some exclusive details about his schedule. He will start shooting for D'Souza's dance film first and then move on to Bharat. Bharat will be shot in parts, and the actor will kick off Dabangg 3 in between those gaps. Therefore, in the coming year Khan will be seen working on more than one film at a time.
Much has been speculated about Dabangg 3 and its plot. Khan put all speculations to rest by confirming that the film will go back and forth in time.
There will be a flashback and Chulbul Pandey's story will get more context. However, the flashback will be a small but substantial part of the film. The primary character's past will take centrestage at some point, but eventually, his present life will become the focus of the film.
Arbaaz Khan will not be directing this installment of the Dabangg franchise. He will only produce it, as per the same DNA report.
