BMC Election 2017: Zoya Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor cast votes
BMC Election 2017 saw a host of celebrities cast their votes and sport inked fingers.
The voting for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls are in full swing. Several Hindi film celebrities joined fellow Mumbai citizens and cast their votes in the BMC election.
Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar was one of the first celebrities to be seen near a polling booth. Later, actor Ranveer Singh also turned up and sported his inked finger.
Also, veteran actor Rekha made a rare public appearance when she cast her vote. Anushka Sharma also made her voice heard through her vote.
Bhagyashree, John Abraham and filmmaker Kiran Rao were also seen casting their votes.
Actor Arbaz Khan and his father, former filmmaker, Salim Khan came together to cast their votes.
In the latter half of the day, Shah Rukh Khan also came in to cast his vote.
