Blast from the past: Official Jurassic Park 2 website still online and its a nostalgia overload

One of the many amazing (or not-so-amazing, depending on who you are) things about the internet is that once something goes online, it stays online. [caption id=“attachment_2292746” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Jurassic Park website from 1997.[/caption] The latest thing to be dug up from the internet graveyard is none other than of the Jurassic Park 2 or The Lost World: Jurassic Park from 1997. The official website for the movie is still up and running (at least most parts of it). And yes, its 90s nostalgia alright. The website lets you ’explore’ John Hammond’s office and look for clues, finding all of which would lead you to win ‘One trip for two to the Outrigger Kauai Beach Hotel in Kauai, Hawaii’. Of course, someone probably won the grand prize eighteen years ago, but its still fun to explore the website. The website lets you click through Hammond’s desk, his filing cabinet, bookcase and computer (look around and you find the password for it soon enough). You can also explore the map on the wall which takes you to different locations on the island, listen to audio clips and check out material from the shooting of the film. So, explore the website and get your Jurassic Park groove on, because the new movie, Jurassic World, is out in theatres now (and this is what our reviewer thought of the latest installment ).
