Bad boy: Salman Khan may be playing a negative role in YRF's 'Dhoom 4'

Ever since Shah Rukh Khan returned as a negative character on screen this year with Fan, we hear it’s the latest trend for leading superstars. And since Aamir Khan has already given it a shot in Dhoom 3 in 2014, no brownie points for guessing who is next. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan has been approached by YRF to play a suave, stylish villain in Dhoom 4. [caption id=“attachment_2651454” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Salman Khan. AFP](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/salman-khan-afp-380-2.jpg) Salman Khan. AFP[/caption] A source within YRF reveals the details in this DNA report, “Salman wants to play a cool, stylish villain. He has never played one before. His negative role in Race 3 is almost finalised, but discussions are still on with Aditya Chopra for Dhoom:4. One of the reasons why an official announcement hasn’t been made yet is because Salman wants to follow in Aamir’s footsteps and get a profit cut on the fourth instalment of the Dhoom franchise. Nothing else about the cast has been finalised yet, but according to t his Hindustan Times report, Vaani Kapoor may be playing the female lead in the film. Kapoor is currently shooting Befikre with Ranveer Singh in Paris, and was earlier seen in Shuddh Desi Romance, where she made her debut. Well, if you liked glimpses of grey from Salman in films like Kick and Tere Naam, you may be in for a treat. Watch this space for more details.
