Amy Jackson's phone hacked; actress' private photos, information leaked online
Amy Jackson was the victim of hacking attack
Amy Jackson may be on a professional high as she shoots for the Enthiran sequel 2.0, with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. However, the actress suffered a setback as her phone was recently hacked, and her private photos and information leaked online.
The actress, as per reports, had taken her phone to a service store in London, her hometown, as she couldn't access her iCloud account. Within days of visiting the store, she was alerted to the possibility that her phone might have been hacked when photos from a private dinner that were stored on her phone made it to the Web.
Amy, who was on her way to Mumbai, before heading to Chennai to resume the 2.0 shoot, told Mid-Day she intended to file a complaint with the police's Cyber Crime Cell.
"I was shocked when this happened," Amy was quoted as saying. "This isn't a trivial matter and has to be taken up seriously. I will register a complaint with the cyber crime cell in London and ensure the hackers are taken to task. Cyber safety is the need of the hour."
She will be filing a separate complaint with the Mumbai Police's cyber crime unit.
