Amitabh Bachchan launches Shatrughan Sinha's biography, 'Anything but Khamosh'

The 338-page book retraces the hurrahs and heartaches of India’s most popular “Bihari Babu” and is based on seven years of research, 37 interviews and over 200 hours of taped conversations, said Pradhan, who wrote the biography. Poonam, said that she had to read the book to understand her actor-husband more. “It was necessary to read the book because after reading it I felt that I didn’t know this man. I wish I had known a lot of this. `The Man I Didn’t Know’ would be a sequel to Anything But Khaamosh,’” she said. The actress read out an excerpt from his biography at the launch. However, she said that she doesn’t want to read the entire book. “I am too scared to read the book. There are certain things in a parent’s life that the child just should not know,” said Sonakshi. But it doesn’t mean we carry forward the fight. I just wanted to tell people that in an honest biography, apart from black and white there is grey too,” the BJP MP said. One of the chapters in the book reportedly talks about Shatrughan Sinha’s off screen relationship with actress Reena Roy and how their relationship continued for some time even after he married Poonam.
