Ameesha’s production house is rolling

Raju Shelar/Firstpost”]  [/caption] Ameesha Patel has finally found a director for the first film under her banner – Ameesha Patel Productions. He is none other than the comedy king, David Dhawan. Patel launched her production house last month with great pomp and show and has been trying to assemble a film since. “I believe in entertaining cinema and I’d like to produce commercial films, the kind I like to watch,” says Ameesha. The actress may not be ruling popularity charts in the business but she’s still got the fire and the flames to light up what’s left of her career. The cost of the film is in the vicinity of 30 crore and David is working out the modalities of the script and cast. And unlike other actors who launch production houses just so they can act in their own projects, Ameesha is flexible. If David feels she suits a part, she will act in the film,  otherwise she is happy playing producer. She does have a business degree that’ll help her make the fiscal decisions, with her mind and not her heart, as is common in Bollywood.
