Raju Shelar/Firstpost”]  [/caption] Salman Khan left for the US on an Air France flight on Monday night for further treatment of his illness, Trigeminal Neuralgia, a nerve disorder that causes intense pain in the face. The actor was scheduled to go on 27 August but had to delay his medical trip due to Hurricane Irene that had taken over the East coast. Khan was seen off at the Mumbai international airport last night by his sisters, Alvira and her husband Atul Agnihotri; and Arpita Khan, who was quite distraught at her older brother’s illness. His next film co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Bodyguard, directed by Siddique, releases tomorrow. The last-minute promotions are being taken care of by Kareena in Salman’s absence. With his invincible streak at the box office of late, the film looks poised to garner a big opening tomorrow. This is the first time Salman will be away from his family and friends during the Eid and Ganesh festivities, which are celebrated with great fervour at his home. [fpgallery id = 182]
