Naam Shabana, Haseena first look: Tapsee Pannu, Shraddha Kapoor look menacing
Akshay Kumar released the poster of Naam Shabana, a spin off of Taapsee Pannu's character from Baby. Shraddha Kapoor also released her look from Haseena.
The posters of Hindi films are out and they are making waves on social media, as Taapsee Pannu and Shraddha Kapoor sport grave no-nonsense looks in the first look of their respective films.
Akshay Kumar unveiled the first look of Naam Shabana, Pannu's upcoming action thriller directed by Shivam Nair. It is a spin-off of Pannu's character from Neeraj Pandey's 2015 film Baby. Though her character in the film was more of a cameo than a full-fledged role, it attracted eyeballs because of Pannu's swift mixed martial arts moves in the capacity of an undercover agent trying to thwart terrorism in India.
This film will explore the back story of that character, giving the viewers a much-needed sneak peek into her life of the. The film also stars Kumar, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa who will reprise their roles from Baby. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manoj Bajpayee are also a part of the star-studded ensemble. The film is slated to release on 31 March.

Shraddha also revealed the poster of her upcoming crime drama Haseena, in which she plays the titular character. Shraddha even changed her Twitter profile name to Haseena as she gears up to enact the life of Haseena Parkar, the sister of notorious underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim.
The project will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia and also stars Sharman Joshi and Siddharth Kapoor, Shraddha's brother, who plays her reel life brother Ibrahim in the film.
The poster looks fairly intimidating as Shraddha, decked up as Haseena, stares into the eyes of the viewer. As she dons black and gold attire, her eyes boast of a shade of red that adds a dramatic element to her character. This will be Shradhha's first project as the female lead and she has some big shoes to fill in.
