Aamir Khan's 51st birthday wish: To gift mom her ancestral home

Aamir Khan, who turned 51 on Monday, addressed mediapersons at his Carter Road residence in Mumbai. He also cut a birthday cake. The star revealed that his biggest wish now is to gift his mother’s ancestral home to her — the house where she was born and brought up. She had a house in Benaras, where she has born and grown up. My biggest dream is to gift her that house,” said Aamir. He further added, “I had been to Benaras (a while ago), and seen the house. It’s a historical and cultural place and if I have a house there, I would be very happy. Let’s hope this happens." About his birthday plans, Aamir said, “I’m spending the whole day with ammi. The whole family will meet at ammi’s place.” Aamir also addressed rumours that the release date for his next film, Dangal, had been brought forward. Aamir denied the reports and said, “As Dangal is a patriotic film and it’s about women’s empowerment, 15 August would have been the ideal release date. But we release the film by August, so we are bringing it out on Christmas.”
