How does developing a product relate to an MBA education? MBA’s do not have a clue about that. In USA, the trend has been to avoid MBAs in startups. Startups and product development companies and companies with new business models need high end technical people combined with people with business acumen. MBAs lack both even if they originally had technical education because education alone does not provide ability to develop products or to run a business. Only in India there is still some degree of misplaced respect for MBAs in relation to startups and products. Time we open our eyes.
