We are being pushed towards intolerance by constant media badgering of the right wing. They dont highlight anything good done by the so called right wing groups. They propagate a history which has been proven to be absurd and trash.

We don’t encourage Indian writers to write about our history. We don’t encourage Indian languages. Hence, we end up at the mercy of foreigners to interpret our history.

We do not know if they are genuine authors or pretenders making it worse. In a vast religion, there will be people who will take things to a extreme and hence they are called the fringe.

But that can’t be used as an excuse to beat up rest of the majority. Government takes over our temples as a matter of right. If you go to temples taken over by state governments, the maintenance  is pathetic. They can’t do this with any other religion.

There are myriad examples of rotten policies and unfortunately hindus are mostly responsible for the plight of Hindu religion. Given this background, while the actions of these groups might be extreme, they also serve as a counter balance against people getting carried away in Hindu bashing.
