Editor’s note: This is a reader comment we got on our article
“Modi and Article 370: Does it highlight BJP’s confusion?”
published earlier today. As is Firstpost policy, we have lightly edited for grammar and spelling, but the comment has been left as is. By Rameshlal Dear sir, if you are really interested in debating Article-370, you have chosen a wrong time. This election time is not good for such discussions. First of all let the elections be over and let a new government come to power. Then, politicians must study what Article 370 and 368 is wand which is applicable to only in J & K. Narendra Modi. AP[/caption] But the only doubt is whether these political party leaders have the time to look into this matter when they are in power. We had many wonderful PMs in the past–Nehru,Indira Gandhi, Moraji Desai, Rajiv Gandhi, ABVajpyee– but unfortunately we never heard a word on Article 370 from these leaders after elections. The BJP is only using it for Kashmeri Pandit’s vote.
